Wine is also an option for serving with chocolate. Take about.com’s advice on wine and chocolate:
- Dark Chocolate – Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, Tawny, Vintage Port
- Milk Chocolate – Pinot Noir, light-bodied Merlot, dessert wines, sparkling wine or champagne for dipped strawberries.
- White Chocolate – Sherry, Moscato d’Asti, Orange Muscat.
Lastly, a mild cup of coffee compliments chocolate.
